Application for full-time volunteers has been closed.

Full-time staff are those who commit to work daily between Jan. 31 (or earlier) and Feb. 19  (except Feb.12 - everyone's day off).

This is your chance to give, receive and maximize your Shambhala experience! 

Your entry ticket and 3 meals a day will be on us!

Positions currently available are:

• Garbage Station Team

• Construction Team

• Kitchen Team

• Reception Team

• Deco (decoration/art) Team

• Accounting Team

• Medical Team

• Information Desk & Store

• Workshop Coordinator

• Social Media Assistant

Your commitment:

Work period: Daily between Jan. 31 (or earlier if possible) and Feb. 19, except Feb. 12, which is everyone's Day-Off with no work and no stage performances. (It's "Buddha's Day" for the locals.)

Work duration: 5 hours/day

You'll get:

• Free entry to the festival

• 3 veggie meals/day

• 2 free drinks/day

• Songtaew transportation from Chiang Mai on Jan. 31

• Songtaew transportation to Chiang Mai on Feb. 19

• Friendship, community and unforgettable experience of working at the festival

You’ll possibly get:

• The number of sleeping bags and blankets available for rent is extremely limited this year due to damage from the flooding in October. It is best to bring your own or buy them in Chiang Mai*.

• Rental of tents and mats is also very limited. Best bring or buy them locally*.

• Sleeping space in the dormitory on the festival ground. It's a building with a concrete floor, so make sure to bring your own mat and sleeping bag. (If you choose to pitch a tent inside the concrete building, it may be warmer and you may sleep more soundly.)
