Shambhala In Your Heart is a not-for-profit festival, lovingly created and organised by a small group of Japanese volunteers who share a hippie spirit of creativity, connection and community building. The event itself is run by a wider community of volunteers from around the world who come together each year to share and receive what cannot be measured — joy, friendship, a sense of belonging, and unforgettable moments.

Musicians who perform at Shambhala contribute not just their music but their energy and artistry, co-creating the festival’s unique atmosphere. The performers who perform on stage will receive 1,000 baht per person, regardless of whether they are professional or amateur, famous or unknown. Notice:

🪘 The Festival's Opening Drum Circle is on the 6th (Friday) February at 5:30 pm in front of the Main Stage.  Everyone regardless of age and music experience is welcome to join.  See the DRUMMERS WANTED page for details. 

🪷 The 10th (Tuesday) is a day-off for everyone including the volunteers and staff. No music performances will be held all day. 

🎤 Open Mic will be held on the 13th (Friday) afternoon at the Kitchen Stage.  If you want to play or sing, put your name down at the Information Desk 1-2 days in advance.
